• Our aim is to deliver the highest standards of care to clients who will be treated with courtesy and respect.
• Our expectation is that our clients will treat the Axis team and fellow clients with courtesy and respect.
• Abusive behaviour, violence and the threat of violence is conduct incompatible with our aims and will not be tolerated.
• Abuse which is discrimination on the grounds of race, sex or disability will not be tolerated.

We are therefore committed to:

• Implementing policies which safeguard the safety and dignity of the Axis team and clients.
• Conveying to all service users the standards of courtesy and behaviour we expect.
• Taking measures which protect staff from violence, abuse or intimidation.
• Supporting staff who are the victims of threats, violence or abuse in the workplace.
